FENIX: 1st International Conference on Life Cycle Thinking
14 September 2010, Barcelona, Spain
The aim of this conference is to:
- Raise awareness on the importance of using Life Cycle Thinking in decision making regarding sustainability issues in Spain and Portugal.

Public Procurement in Europe: Ecological and Economical Solutions through Cooperation

Green purchasing international forum ("Forum Compra Verde")
7-8 October 2010, Cremona, Italy
The fourth event of this series, the Green Purchasing International Forum will provide three days of information and exchange among representatives of the public sector on green public procurement (GPP). The event will also host a number of awards to showcase GPP success stories from the Italian public sector, such as the best Green Tender/Best GPP Policy and the "Mensa Verde" award (best "green cafeteria").

Senior Training Course on the Marrakech Task Force Approach to Sustainable Public Procurement
December 2010, Torino, Italy
UNEP and the MTF on SPP will co-organize a Senior SPP training course in December 2010, in cooperation with the International Training Center of the International Labour Organization (ITC-ILO), on the MTF Approach on SPP.
The course will be composed of two modules: distance learning and face-to-face. The distance learning module will be carried-out online and will last three weeks. The face-to-face module of the course will consist of a week of face-to-face training at the ITC-ILO campus in Torino, Italy.
